Sanya, an international tropical coastal tourist city with blue sky and sea and gentle coconut breeze, which enjoys the reputation of “Eastern Hawaii”. It makes full use of its unique natural environment advantages to vigorously develop sailing and related industries. In recent years, it has successively hosted manyinternational sailing races, such as Volvo Ocean Race, Youth Sailing World Championships, Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, and has been widely recognized by the international sailing industry. The 10th RHN Regatta OP Sailing Invitational Competition and the 2019 Meisha Education National Junior Sailing League Sanya Station and Hobie 16 National Sailing Elite Competition nearly 70 competitors brave winds and waves to experience the beautiful scenery of Sanya in the competition.

The OP and Hobie Sailing Race lasts for two days. The OP Invitational Sailing Competition and the Sanya Station of the 2019 Meisha Education National Junior Sailing League are divided into U10 women’s group, U10 men’s group, U12 group and U15 group. Qiao Zixuan of the U10 men’s team won the reorganization title with the first good result of the first two competitions. Qiao Zixuan said, “If I have such a chance next time, I will come back to compete. I’ve met many friends here who like sailing as much as I do. I’m very happy.”

Mr. Tang Cheng, chairman of the Hong Kong SailingFederation, won the runner-up medals in the Hobie 16 National Sailing Elite Competition. After the competition, he said, “I am very happy to be able to compete in Sanya as a competitor. My greatest experience is that the government of Sanya actively promotes sailing among the general public. It is a good thing for fans, participants and practitioners of sailing. which helps the development of Chinese sailing.”

These two days’ competitions attracted sailing enthusiasts from all over the country. Their age span is enough to prove their love for sailing. At the same time, OP Invitational Sailing Race and Hobie 16 National Sailing Elite Race also marked the official launch of the 10th RHN Regatta. A total of 56 large sailing boats will take part in the contest round Hainan Island, totaling 1040 nautical miles, the race are starting and ending at Haikou.
